FC Halifax Town will host Eastleigh at the Shay on Saturday afternoon in the Vanarama National League, 3pm kick-off.
The Shaymen go into the game in 15th place in the league following Tuesday night’s 1-1 draw with local neighbours Oldham Athletic.
Town have so far won one, drawn two and lost two on home soil and will be looking to make it four points from six this week at the Shay
Adam Senior now leads the goalscoring charts following his goal in midweek with two goals for the Club this season
Eastleigh lost 2-0 away at Southend in midweek which saw them drop from 2nd to 5th in the table thanks to goals from Nathan Ralph and Jack Bridge in the first half.
They are unbeaten on home soil with three wins and a draw at the Silverlake, whilst away from home they have won two and lost two so far, the other defeat was at Gateshead
Former Town captain Niall Maher joined Eastleigh this summer and he joins Scott Quigley who has also played for both sides
Paul McCallum leads their goalcoring charts with five goals in seven games
Town won 3-0 at the Silverlake on the last day of last season thanks to goals from Adan George, Jamie Cooke and Max Wright, whilst Eastleigh won 3-2 at the Shay back in September 2023
