FC Halifax Town will entertain Eastleigh at the Shay on Saturday in the Vanarama National League, 3pm kick-off.

The Shaymen will be looking to pick up maximum points for just the second home match of the season following 1 win, four draws and a defeat at the Shay this season.

Tuesday night saw a 0-0 draw with Dagenham & Redbridge under the Shay floodlights.

Town have conceded the fewest on home soil this season of all the teams in tne National League with only three goals against them but only scored 4 in return.

The last win was a 1-0 victory at Rochdale back on the 2nd September and the last home win wason the opening day of the season.

Eastleigh are 15th in the table and they have won one, drawn two and lost three on their travels this season.

Last time out they lost 1-0 away at Bromley in midweek but beat Kidderminster 2-1 at the Silverlake last weekend.

They have picked up 11 points from the 24 on offer so far this season and have only kept clean sheets i three games this season. In their last five games they have conceded 11 including 6 at home to Gateshead.

Paul McCallum leads their goalscoring chart with 5 in 9 games so far.

The two sides met at the Shay on the last day of last season drawing 1-1. Kairo Mitchell put the Spitfires ahead but Rob Harker equalised in injury time to secure a point. Charlie Carter scored the only goal of the game at the Silverlake as Eastleigh won the return fixture 1-0
