FC Halifax Town will be looking to finish the league season 8 games unbeaten when they take on Eastleigh at the Shay, 5.30pm kick-off.

The Shaymen have won five and drawn two of the last seven games including a 1-0 win over play-off hopefuls Woking in midweek thanks to Rob Harker’s first half strike.

Recent results have seen Town rise to 10th in the league which is the highest Chris Millington’s side can finish as Eastleigh in 9th are 6 points above the Shaymen.

Town have won 11, drawn 6 and lost 6 on home soil this season and will be looking for a final victory in front of their own fans before heading to Wembley Stadium in three weeks time to take on Gateshead in the Isuzu FA Trophy final.

Eastleigh haven’t won away from Silverlake Stadium in six games conceding 13 goals in the last five games and they have only picked up 1 win in the last 9 games.

Like the Shaymen they have only won 5 times away from home this season with a -1 goal difference, their home form has seen them win 14 times, draw 5 and lost 4

Danny Whitehall is their top scorer with 12 goals in 39 appearances

Charlie Carter scored the only goal of the game when the two sides met in the return fixture in September.

The game will kick-off at 5.30pm.
