FC Halifax Town will entertain Dorking Wanderers at the Shay on Saturday in the Vanarama National League, 3pm kick-off.

The Shaymen sit 5th in the table following the first 8 games of the season and are unbeaten on home soil with one win and three draws in their opening four games.

Town beat Bromley on the opening day of the season and have picked up points against Oxford City, Gateshead and Southend United.

Chris Millington’s side have only lost once in the first eight games which came at Boreham Wood and have two wins and four draws since then.

Town will have midfielder Luke Summerfield available following the Club’s successful appeal against his sending-off last weekend against Southend United.

Dorking are 21st in the table and have only won once this season which was a 2-1 victory over Southend United at home.

On the road they have lost 4-3 at Chesterfield, 3-0 at Solihull, 2-0 at Woking and last time out they drew 0-0 at Oldham last weekend.

Their top scorer is Jason Prior with 4 goals in 7 games.

Last season Town won 3-1 at home with goals from Jamie Cooke, Kian Spence and Tylor Golden before Ryan Seager pulled one back for Marc White’s side and the two sides drew 0-0 in the return fixture
