FC Halifax Town are delighted to announce the signing of forward Daniel Nkrumah on loan from Championship side Middlesbrough, for the rest of the season.
The forward joined Leyton Orient’s academy at the age of eight and progressed through the youth ranks to make his senior debut in the EFL Trophy against Southampton under 21s. In 2021, Nkrumah received his first professional contract at the age of 17. In December 2022, the forward joined Welling United in the National League South on a one-month loan deal where he netted once in four appearances. The following March, Nkrumah went back to Welling for a second loan spell and scored one more in six appearances.
In June 2023, Middlesbrough paid an undisclosed fee to bring him to the Riverside Stadium. The following March, Nkrumah joined National League side Dagenham & Redbridge on a one-month loan deal, where he made four appearances. The forward has already experienced football at The Shay having started in our National League Cup fixture in November.
