- Former manager Malcolm Allison changed the club’s traditional claret and sky-blue colours for a red and blue kit to replicate that of Barcelona.
- Crystal Place shared their home ground of Selhurst Park with Wimbledon from 1991 until 2003 when Wimbledon moved to Milton Keynes.
- Palace were originally nicknamed “the Glaziers” due to them playing their home games at The Crystal Palace before Malcolm Allison changed it to “The Eagles”.
- Their highest ever attendance is 51,801, which came against Burnley in 1979.
