Congratulations to Tranmere Rovers who have secured promotion to the Football League through the play-offs this afternoon with a 2-1 win over Boreham Wood at Wembley Stadium.
Tranmere went down to 10 men in the first minute following a challenge by Liam Ridehalgh.
Andy Cook’s header put them ahead despite their numerical deficit before Bruno Andrade scored 8 minutes into first half injury time to equalise for the Wood.
James Norwood made sure it was Tranmere who would be promoted with 10 minutes remaining to send them back into the EFL.
The National League North and South finals are tomorrow as Harrogate Town will face Brackley Town whilst Hampton & Richmond will face a home tie against Braintree Town, both games kick-off at 3pm.
