Congratulations to Rochdale who have secured promotion to the EFL this afternoon with a penalty shoot-out win over Boreham Wood in the play-off final.
Boreham Wood led 2-0 but two late goals from Dale took the game to extra-time before Rochdale won the game with penalties.
They will join York City in League Two next season.
The National League will be made up as follows next season:
Relegated from League Two
Harrogate Town & Barrow
Promoted to the NL from NLN
AFC Fylde & Kidderminster Harriers
Promoted to the NL from NLS
Worthing and Hornchurch
The six clubs will join FC Halifax Town, Carlisle United, Boreham Wood, Scunthorpe United, Southend United, Forest Green Rovers, Hartlepool United, Woking, Tamworth, Boston United, Altrincham, Solihull Moors, Wealdstone, Yeovil Town, Eastleigh, Gateshead, Sutton United and Aldershot Town in the 2026/27 National League.
The season is due to start on Saturday 8th August 2026
