Cliff Moyo has re-signed with the Shaymen today after making 26 appearances last season. Here’s what Moyo had to say regarding his move:
How does it feel to have singed a permanent deal with FC Halifax Town?
“It’s good, I am happy to be honest because obviously with the end of the season with promotion it was a no brainer. I didn’t want to leave, so I am very happy to have signed again.”
What are your aspirations for the upcoming season?
“Mainly for me it is about getting games and game time. We need to keep our place in the league and if more comes from that it will be a bonus. However, we can’t expect too much after just being promoted. It’s going to be a difficult season.”
What is the main reason you chose to re-join?
“The manager, the players, the fans and the club itself. Who wouldn’t want to join Halifax, it was a no brainer.”
Have you spoken to Billy Heath?
“We’ve been speaking frequently since the season finished and he has showed his interest to keep me which is good for me. It’s always good when a manager has trust in you.”
Do you have a message for fans?
“Hopefully as a team we can give them the results they want and deserve.”
