It’s 1st vs 2nd tomorrow as league leaders Chesterfield will host FC Halifax Town at the Technique Stadium, 3pm kick-off.

The Spireites start the day top of the table level on points with Town but with a game in hand over over the Shaymen. The winners of tomorrow’s match will be top at the end of 2021 going into the new year.

Town have picked up 22 points from the last 30 on offer and have won their last three league games with a 2-0 win over King’s Lynn, 1-0 win over Wealdstone and 3-2 away at Torquay United and have also progressed in the FA Trophy with a penalty shoot-out win over local neighbours Bradford Park Avenue.
