FC Halifax Town will head down the M1 on Tuesday night to take on Chesterfield in the Vanarama National League, 7.45pm kick-off.
It’s 7th vs 6th with the Shaymen a point above our hosts going into the game.
Town won 4-2 at home to King’s Lynn thanks to goals from Billy Chadwick, Jake Hyde, Luke Summerfield and Jack Earing.
The Shaymen have picked up 22 points in the last 30 on offer and have just one loss in the last 5 games.
Chesterfield were defeated 2-1 at the weekend by Bromley on home soil. They have picked up 16 points from the last 24 with just one loss in their last seven games. They have won their last four games on the road but just two wins in their last five at home.
Their two top scorer Akwasi Asante is injured having scored 10 goals this season as is former Town striker Tom Denton who had 9 in 15 games for the Spireites.
It will be the first time the two sides have met this season, they will meet again on the final day of the season at the Shay.
