FC Halifax Town will make the trip to Derbyshire tomorrow to take on Chesterfield in the Vanarama National League, 3pm kick-off.
The Shaymen go into the game in 16th place and take on a Spireites side who sit 4th in the table.
Chris Millington’s side have picked up just three away wins on the road in the league this season coming at Scunthorpe, Solihull and Oldham, with 6 points picked up from draws and 10 defeats so far. So far this season Town have scored the fewest goals away from the ground in the league with just 12 scored but have only conceded 23 which is the same as Chesterfield in their away games too.
Town have picked up points in the last three from home with 0-0 draws at Gateshead, Dorking and a 1-1 draw in front of the BT Sport cameras at Boreham Wood.
Chesterfield have 11 victories on home soil this season but have failed to win in their last five at the Technique Stadium with draws against Yeovil and Wealdstone, along with defeats to Oldham, Notts County and Woking.
They sit in 4th place and are 13 points above 8th placed Wealdstone so a play-off place looks almost certain for Paul Cook’s side.
Their top scorers are Kabango Tshimanga (now with Peterborough), former Town man Jeff King and Joe Quigley all with 7 goals this season.
A Rob Harker goal gave the Shaymen all three points in the return fixture at the Shay back in December.
