FC Halifax Town U19s were defeated this week 9-0 in an away game at Chester.
The home side were the better team from the opening whistle, and the goals came slow at first, but coach Jack Garside would comment “sadly some of the lads threw in the towel at the end.” This would allow the score to pile up as the game would come to its conclusion. Garside would also exclaim “there will have to be changes to the squad for the last 8 games.”
The game would end Chester 9-0 FC Halifax Town, making it 5 games without a win for The Town.
