As quite a few of you already know, Tony Allan our Club Secretary of ten years, is retiring.
Due to personal circumstances his departure has come forward from the end of October to now. Tony has an enviable reputation, highly respected by all the authorities he comes into contact with, the FA, the National League, the EFL and the other Clubs above and below our status. Of course this respect extends to his fellow club secretaries, a list of contact names beyond belief as there is no one he doesn’t know! He will be sorely missed by his colleagues within our Football Club and he and his wife Debbie leave with our heartfelt blessings and all the best for a happy retirement and good health going forward.
That means we have a vacancy! Step up Holleigh Farrington who has agreed to join the Shaymen with immediate effect and we wish her well with her new role. Tony is doing a stepped handover with Holleigh over the next few days.
