FC HALIFAX TOWN INVITES YOU TO THE CENTENARY CELEBRATION CARVERY

THE SHAY – SATURDAY 11 SEPTEMBER 2021 – 1.00PM

Celebrating 100 years of football at The Shay, why not come and dine pre-match when FC Halifax Town entertain Southend United?

Meet players from down the years, including members of the Halifax Town side which defeated Manchester United 2-1 in the Watney Cup fifty years ago.

Confirmed for our celebration are former players George Holt (Halifax Town’s oldest surviving player), Dave Worthington, Bob Worthington, Kevin Johnson and Alan Little (all former Halifax and Southend players), and members of the side which defeated Manchester United fifty years ago in the Watney Cup – Alex Smith, Jeff Lee, Lammie Robertson, Dave Verity and Barry Holmes.

Cost for season ticket holders – £23
Non-season ticket holders – £35

(Children’s Prices on request)

Pre-match Carvery/Dessert and Q&A with the former players before FC Halifax hopefully pick up three points against Phil Brown’s Southend side.

You’ll also hear from our amazing Club Historian Johnny Meynell who will share his informative knowledge of The Shay from over the years.

Booking is really simple – email John Williams – JohnWilliams@fchalifaxtown.com

We hope you can join us.
