FC Halifax Town host Bromley FC at the MBi Shay Stadium this weekend and Brett Williams will look to add to his four goals that he has already bagged this season.

The former Reading man is joint top scorer for the away side so far, this season with 4 goals. Williams netted three times against his former club Torquay United to claim the match ball when Bromley ran out 3-1 winners last Tuesday.

Williams has started 7 of Bromley’s opening 11 matches, appearing in the other 4 as a substitute. He will hope that his recent show of form will earn him a place in the starting line up on Saturday to try and help his side maintain or improve on their current position of 6th in the league table.

The 29-year-old has plenty of experience playing in the top tier of non-league football having represented Woking, Aldershot Town, Forest Green Rovers, Torquay United and now Bromley in this division. His best goal scoring season whilst playing at this level came in the 2013-14 season in which he scored 24 goals for Aldershot

Town will hope to keep an eye on Williams this weekend and they’ll need to do everything they can to minimize his impact.
