Bromley were formed in 1892, but initially played friendly games against local opposition. Their first competitive football came when they participated in the South London League, which they won.

2)Β Β Β Β Division Two

In the first few years of their formation the club jumped between leagues regularly, playing in the Southern Football League and the London League before competing in Division Two, which they won in 1897, just five years after their formation.

The club were expelled from the London League in 1900, and went on to compete in the Spartan League, which they won in 1908. They then moved on to the Isthmian League, and won back-to-back titles in their first two seasons. The First World War stopped football temporarily, but once it had resumed they joined the Athenian League, winning it in 1923.

4)Β Β Β Β False Start

In 1999, Bromley had a very strange season. They started very strongly, with 13 points coming out of their first five games (W4 D1 L0), before going on to win just four of the remaining 37 games, and suffering relegation as a result.

5)Β Β Β Β Promotion

After spending a mixed seven seasons in the Conference South, but after significant investment in signings and stadium developments in 2014/15 they won the league title, earning promotion to the Conference Premier for the first time in their history.

6)Β Β Β Β FA Amateur Cup

Bromley have won the FA Amateur Cup three times, the most recent of which was in 1949 when a then-club-record breaking crowd of 96,000 turned up to see them defeat Romford in the final at Wembley. All three finals were won 1-0, and the goal was scored by the player wearing the number 8 shirt each time.

7)Β Β Β Β FA Cup First Round

The club has reached the FA Cup First Round on 13 separate occasions, which are: 1937, 1938, 1945, 1947, 1949, 1950, 1976, 1996, 2006, 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2014.

8)Β Β Β Β FA Cup Second Round

Bromley won their first three FA Cup First Round appearances to progress to the Second Round Proper, but have been defeated in the 10 appearances since.

9)Β Β Β Β FA Trophy

Since entering the FA Trophy in 1974, the club failed to make it past the Second Round until the 2000/01 season, where they reached the Third Round.

10)Β Cup Honours

Bromley have numerous cup successes to their name, winning the Kent Senior Cup six times and the Amateur version 12 times. They have also won the London Senior Cup five times.
