FC Halifax Town are back in action tomorrow night with a trip to Braintree Town in the Vanarama National League, 7.45pm kick-off.
The Shaymen won 1-0 at the weekend away at Maidenhead thanks to Florent Hoti’s second half goal for a second away victory of the campaign. It keeps Town unbeaten in four away from home.
The win saw Chris Millington’s side climb to 9th in the table after 10 games just a point outside the play-off places.
So far Town have scored 3 and conceded just once in the four away games to date and will travel to struggling Braintree who have won just once in their opening 10 games. That win came against Aldershot at home back on the 20th August.
Since then they have drawn four in a row before another run of three defeats in a row starting with 2-1 defea away at York, 3-1 at Barnet and lost 1-0 at home to Tamworth at the weekend
They have only scored two goals on home soil but only concded three goals in their five games at home.
Kyrell Lisbie leads their goalscoring charts with 3 in 9 games.
The last time the two sides met was in January 2019 at the Shay and the game ended in a 0-0 draw.
