FC Halifax Town return to league action with a home game against Boston United at the Shay tomorrow, 3pm kick-off.
The Shaymen won 4-0 in midweek in the Isuzu FA Trophy against Anstey Nomads thanks to two goals from Will Harris, Owen Bray and Jay Turner-Cooke
Town lost 2-1 at Forest Green in their last league game but were denied a point with a disallowed goal towards the end of the game.
That defeat is Town’s only loss in five games and have seen victories over Tamworth, Aldershot and Braintree in the league over the last few weeks.
Adam Lakeland’s side are three points outside the play-offs but Southend in 7th do have three games in hand.
Boston are 17th in the table and have appointed Paul Hurst as manager following Graham Coughlan’s departure.
They haven’t won in five league games, their last victory was a 3-0 win at Morecambe on the 6th December. They have lost to Aldershot, Brackley and Eastleigh whilst earning a point away at both York and Braintree
Their top goalscorer is Lenell John-Lewis with 7 goals in 26 league games.
Josh Hmami scored the only goal in a 1-0 win for the Shaymen back in August in the game at the Jakemans Stadium.
