FC Halifax Town start two games in three days this Bank Holiday with the long away trip to Boreham Wood before facing Gateshead at the MBi Shay Stadium on Bank Holiday Monday.

The Shaymen have started the season with 12 points from the first 15 on offer and sit just a point behind league leaders Wrexham in 2nd place.

Town have been sharing the goals around so far with Matty Kosylo, Dayle Southwell and Jonathan Edwards all on two each for the campaign so far and they will be looking to increase their tallies tomorrow as Jamie Fullarton’s side look to continue scoring in every game so far this season.

Boreham Wood go into the game unbeaten at home with a win and a draw from their first two games but haven’t won on the road in their three away games which sees the hosts in 18th place.

The home side won the first game of the season 1-0 at Meadow Park thanks to Angelo Balanta’s goal at the start of the second half and have since had 0-0 draw with Havant & Waterlooville (a) and Gateshead (h) whilst being defeated by league leaders Wrexham and Leyton Orient in their last game.

They have only scored two goals this season so far, Balanta and David Stephens on target for Luke Garrard’s side.
