Nathan Clarke who produced a Man of the Match winning performance against Boreham Wood on Tuesday gave his thoughts on the game.

“We have played well for long periods of time and created some pretty much clear-cut chances which we have not capitalised and unable to finish the game

We have to take the positives and stay in that winning frame of mind.”

Ben Tomlinson Returns

The match against Boreham Wood also saw the return of Ben Tomlinson who came on as a second half substitute.  Clarke commented.

“He has been a massive miss for us, but he has been there in the dressing room backing the team both home and away.

He is a fantastic character to be around and I am glad he is back.”

Sutton United

Clarke discussed the Shaymen’s next opponents Sutton United.

“We don’t look too far beyond, but we are playing well and hopefully we can continue and capitalise on our chances.”
