The Shaymen come into Tuesday nights came in 16th position on 26 points, but do have games in hand on teams above and below them. Boreham Wood currently occupy 11th spot on 31 points.

The Wood were also in FA Trophy action this past weekend. They hosted National League South side Torquay United and disposed of them 3-1 at home. Their last league outing was a 1-0 win at home over table toppers Leyton Orient. This was Wood’s first back to back wins in all competitions since they end of October when they beat Dagenham & Redbridge (0-1) and Bromley (2-1).

The win against Leyton Orient was Wood’s first win in seven games in all competitions. In that run they have suffered a FA cup shock defeat to National League North side Southport losing 2-0 away from home and also, a 1-0 defeat at home to National League stragglers Dover Athletic.

The Shaymen come into the game with only the 1-0 win over Dover in five in the league. A win for the Shaymen could see them rise two places to 14th if results go our way.
