FC Halifax Town will make the trip south this weekend for the first away game of the season with a visit to Boreham Wood, 3pm kick-off.
The Shaymen kicked off the season with a 2-0 home win over Bromley last weekend and will be looking to build on that win with a trip to Meadow Park
Boreham Wood earnt a point away at Gateshead on the opening day of the season. Marcus Dinanga and Jordan Hunter put the Heed into a two goal lead but second half goals from Kwesi Appiah and an injury time equaliser from Cameron Coxe gave Luke Garrard’s side a point. Striker Timmy Abraham was sent off in the 84th minute for Boreham Wood and will miss the game through suspension.
Last weekend’s visitors finished 7th in the table last season whilst our hosts tomorrow finished 1 point and 1 place above in 6th position with 9 home wins, 8 draws and 6 defeats on home soil.
Town managed to get four points from Boreham Wood last season with a 1-0 home victory thanks to Rob Harker and a 1-1 draw at Meadow Park with Millenic Alli equalising from Lee Ndlovu’s first half goal.
