FC Halifax Town will be looking to return to winning ways with 2nd vs 5th at the Shay Stadium as they take on Boreham Wood, 7.45pm kick-off.
The Shaymen go into the game four points above Wood having played three games more so will know a win is important against Luke Garrard’s side.
Town lost 1-0 away at Maidenhead at the weekend with an injury hit squad and will be hoping that they have more options for the midweek clash in front of the BT Sport cameras.
The defeat at York Road was the first league defeat since the 2-1 loss at home to Wrexham on the 23rd November.
Pete Wild’s side have won the last three home games on the bounce with victories over Grimsby Town, Eastleigh and King’s Lynn Town.
Boreham Wood drew 1-1 at home to Weymouth at the weekend and are now unbeaten in 9 league games and just one loss in 14 games which was away at Chesterfield back on the 23rd October.
They have scored in every game this season except a 0-0 draw at home to Barnet on the 2nd January and 0-0 with Stockport back in September. They have also kept 12 clean sheets in 21 matches this season in the Vanarama National League
Their top scorer is no stranger to the Shay with former Shayman Scott Boden having 7 goals in 20 league appearances, 2 of them coming from the penalty spot.
The two sides met at Meadow Park back in September where it ended 2-2. Tom Bradbury put the Shaymen ahead but Josh Rees and Boden turned the game around before Billy Waters equalised for a share of the spoils with just over 10 minutes remaining.
