FC Halifax Town U19s defeated Blyth Sparts 4-1 at home this week.

The opening 45 minutes saw a real chess match unfold as both teams were acclimatising to the other team’s tactics and playstyle, however, the Town would strike first as Favour Gold would put the home side one goal to the good around the 30-minute mark. Despite the breakthrough the away side were not backing down as Blythe would equalise not long after making the score 1-1 heading into the break.

Unlike the first period, the second was much more one sided as the young Shaymen got out of first gear and started really implementing their style of play, this would result in Hamza Hamdosh firing Halifax ahead making the score 2-1. This was followed by two more goals for the Town from Lewis Barlow and Luke brooks respectively to secure the victory for Halifax. The final score FC Halifax Town 4-1 Blyth Spartans.
