FC Halifax Town head into their second fixture of the bank holiday weekend, as they travel over The Pennines to face Barrow in The Vanarama National League.

The Shaymen pulled yet another fantastic performance out the bag on Saturday, as Pete Wild orchestrated a 4-1 win over a much fancied AFC Fylde side to keep The Shaymen in fourth position.
Town have now scored four goals twice in a game already this season, last time fans Shaymen fans would have seen this before this season was a 4-0 win over Chester at Christmas in 2017.
Shaymen can not only boast about having a strong defence having conceded 4 goals, only second to top side Woking who have conceded three goals. Now Town are showing a potency in-front of goal having now got 12 goals, second highest in the league behind Solihull Moors who have 15 so far this season.

Barrow have had an indifferent start to the season. Having lost their opening two games, the bluebirds then got their first victory of the season a 2-0 win over Eastleigh. They were unable to keep that winning feeling going as they lost a five-goal thriller to new boys Stockport.
But they got that winning feeling back again after a 1-0 home win over recently relegated Yeovil. On Saturday Barrow were away to Chesterfield and gave away a two goal lead to draw the match 2-2.
Barrow have only failed to score in one of their six games this season, so Brown and co will be have to be alert to Barrows attacking threat.
A name Shaymen fans will be familiar with is Scott Quigley. The former loaneeย has been busy for his new club. Quigley has already got four goals this season, which double the amount he got in a Town shirt.
