FC Halifax Town came from behind to rescue a draw away at Altrincham.
Town started off on the back foot, and the side must have been getting flashbacks from last week, as once again the young Shaymen found themselves down in the first ten minutes. Manager Jack Garside had this to say, βitβs a bad habit weβve picked up this season which makes winning football games a lot harder.β Despite the early goal Halifax didnβt take long to reply as Favour Gold would equalise just 15 minutes later, making it 1-1.
Unlike the first 25 minutes of the game the rest was relatively uneventful with both teams struggling to get out of first gear.Garside would further comment, βthe surface made it really hard to play football, it was really dry and bobbly.β This would ultimately end up in the contest finishing Altrincham 1-1 FC Halifax Town.
