FC Halifax Town have a rare away outing this month with the short trip to Altrincham this weekend.

In April, Town have 5 home games and just two away games with a trip to Chesterfield to come in 10 days time.

The Shaymen have picked up 20 points in the last 27 on offer and sit 7th in the Vanarama National League table and have won three out of the last five away games.

Our hosts Altrincham have picked up 11 points out of their last 8 games and lost away at King’s Lynn Town in their last game 2-0.

They have slipped down the table in recent weeks and are currently 12th

The two sides met at the Shay between Christmas and New Year, it was Pete Wild’s side who took all three points with a 3-2 win thanks to goals from Luke Summerfield, Billy Chadwick and Martin Woods, Josh Hancock and Dan Mooney grabbed Alty’s goals.

Their top scorer this year is Josh Hancock who has 11 goals in 27 appearances, 5 of them have come from the penalty spot.
