FC Halifax Town will head to Altrincham on Boxing Day in the Vanarama National League, 3pm kick-off.
Town are a place below Altrincham in 7th place three points below the Robins going into the first of back to back festive games against Altrincham.
The Shaymen drew 2-2 against local neighbours Rochdale at the weekend, Chris Millington’s side were denied all three points by Jimmy Keohane’s second half strike for the Dale.
Five wins, three draws and four defeats on the road this season, wins have been picked up at Oldham, Rochdale, Ebbsfleet, Woking and Gateshead so far this season.
Altrincham have won 6, drawn 1 and lost just one game at home this season in the league which was a 2-1 victory for Bromly back in September.
They have won their last three on home soil against AFC Fylde, Solihull Moors and Southend United.
Altrincham grabbed a point at Bromley at the weekend thanks to Alex Newby’s injury time equaliser for 2-2.
Chris Conn-Clarke leads their goalscoring chart with 13 goals from 23 in the league.
The two sides have already met this season with a 0-0 draw in the FA Trophy but Altrincham progressed to the next round with a penalty shoot out win at the Shay.
Tickets are on sale for the game. Altrincham are encouraging early sales to avoid disappointment in case of the away end being full or long queues on the day. All info can be found here
