FC Halifax Town have secured the signing of 24 year old wide man Jamie Allen from Dover Athletic.

Wigan born Allen started his career with Fleetwood Town and had loan spells with Barrow and AFC Fylde during his time with the Cod Army.

He joined Stalybridge Celtic in 2015 for a short spell before joining Southport scoring 14 times in 68 appearances.

Allen joined Dover at the start of the 2017/18 season and spent the last two seasons with the Kent side.

Last season he played 36 games for the Whites including both games against the Shaymen scoring 6 goals during the full campaign.

He joins Jack Earing and Tobi Sho-Silva as new signings for the Shaymen as Town plan for life in the Vanarama National League season which kicks off on Saturday 3rd August away at Ebbsfleet United.
