FC Halifax Town suffered their first defeat in pre-season with a 1-0 defeat to Vanarama National North side Alfreton Town this afternoon.
A game which saw numerous changes for both side’s during the game was decided by a headed goal from Billy Priestley early in the second half from a freekick.
Goalkeeper Sam Johnson was replaced during the first half with an ankle injury which doesn’t appear to be serious.
Town are back in action with the first of the home games in pre-season with the visit of Rochdale, 7.45pm kick-off on Tuesday night.
