FC Halifax Town will travel to Aldershot Town this weekend in the Enterprise National League, 3pm kick-off
The Shaymen are sat in the play-off places in 7th position and will be looking for a 7th away win of the league season.
Town were knocked out of the FA Trophy last weekend on penalties at home to Kidderminster Harriers following a 1-1 draw at the Shay.
Adam Lakeland’s side were also knocked out of the National League Cup with a 1-0 defeat in their last away game at Tamworth.
However in the league Town have been in good form, a 3-2 victory at Eastleigh followed home wins over Morecambe and Boston United and sit a point above Southend but they do have two games in hand over Town.
Aldershot have five wins in their last seven games, previously they had lost eight league games in a row
Last weekend they won 3-0 away at Hartlepool and have also won 4-1 at Eastleigh.
However their last game on home soil saw Chris Millington’s Solihull win 5-1 at the EBB Stadium
In the last game between the two sides, Town won 4-2 at The Shay back in September with Will Harris, two from Jamie Cooke and one from Josh Hmami giving Town victory
Aldershot have tweeted “The club has received a number of enquiries regarding tomorrow’s game and would like to make clear that at this moment in time, the game is on. We are aware of the weather warnings over the next 24 hours, and we will be monitoring those conditions. The club is conducting the necessary precautions to give the game the best possible chance to go ahead, and will publish any further developments as we receive them.”
