After just 18 months we are in the planning stage of building our 3rd advanced training group. We currently have an U10 and U11 group, they train twice a week at Calderdale College and regularly play fixtures against other local Academies. In February they will be playing Accrington, Barnsley & Chester to name a few.
The players have either been selected from local grassroots teams or have been promoted from within our community coaching sessions.
There’s a huge drive behind the project to get Halifax based players training & playing together. Offering the same opportunities as other clubs do and hopefully getting some local boys eventually playing 1st team football for their home-town club.
