FC Halifax Town are pleased to confirm the signing of right winger AJ Warburton following a standout season for Avro FC.
Starting his career as a right back, the young attacker was moved further forward in the 2023/24 season, where Warburton featured for Droylsden 46 times in the North West Counties Football League Division One South. The Bloods finished 5th, losing to Stockport Town in the playoffs, as Warburton contributed 15 goals and assists.
At the start of last season, Warburton signed for Avro in the Northern Premier League Division One West. He netted 11 times in all competitions as Avro finished 7th.
