Vanarama National League Preview

There are six games in the Vanarama National League on Tuesday night including FC Halifax Town entertaining Sutton United, 7.45pm kick-off.

Harrogate Town will be looking to cut Barrow’s 8 point lead at the top of the table with an away trip to the Proact Stadium to take on 21st placed Chesterfield.

The Spireites have won their last two league games and are now just a point behind Maidenhead United. Harrogate booked their place in the semi-finals of the Buildbase FA Trophy with a 3-2 win after extra time at AFC Fylde

4th placed Boreham Wood will travel to Barnet having dropped points at the weekend. Wood drew 1-1 with Hartlepool on the back of losing 3-2 to Aldershot last week. Barnet went out of the FA Trophy at the weekend losing to Halesowen Town after extra time. In the league, they have just one loss in the last 10 games.

Notts County dropped to 10th over the weekend as they were in FA Trophy action beating Aveley 5-0. They will face a trip to strugglers AFC Fylde on Tuesday night, they have lost the last two away games at Hartlepool and Dagenham. AFC Fylde haven’t won at home for 6 games in a run which has seen them draw two and lose the last four.

Solihull Moors are 6th in the table and they will be at home to midtable Hartlepool United who are just three points behind them. Moors were 3-0 winners over Dover and have won the last two on home soil, Hartlepool haven’t won in their last four away games but have won their last four at home.

Finally bottom of the table Chorley will face Eastleigh looking to find their first win after a run of 12 games without success. They haven’t scored in their last three games. Eastleigh haven’t won away in five games and haven’t scored in their last two away either.
