36-year-old current club captain who joined his hometown FC Halifax Town finally at the age of 34. The centre half started his career with Huddersfield Town making 266 league appearances. He is vastly experienced with football league spells at Colchester United, Oldham Athletic, Bury, Leyton Orient, Bradford City, Coventry City and Grimsby Town. Clarke played 38 times in the heart of Town’s defence last season.
