Billy Heath will be looking for a repeat of the reverse fixture where The Shaymen were comfortable winners 3-0 back in August. Meanwhile manager less Worcester, following the recent resignation of Carl Heeley, will be looking for their first victory since November.
Current Form:
The Shaymen are on a fine run of form which has seen Heath’s side move back into the play-offs after a six-game unbeaten run, with 10 of those 16 points coming against sides in and around the top five. When as their opponents, Worcester are in, what can only be described as, horrendous form. The Midlands side have not won a game of football since the end of November when they beat Curzon Ashton in the FA Trophy. Since that victory, in the league Worcester have picked up five draws and five defeats to leave the manager less since looking precariously over their shoulder, as they only sit outside the relegation zone on goal difference.

Key-Man:
Worcester’s key man is Ethan Ross in between the sticks. The young goalkeeper is on a season-long loan from Premier League Side West Bromwich Albion and has been ever-present in The Blues side. Despite conceding 40 goals this season Worcester are surprisingly one of the meanest defences in the league, considering their position in the league, with only seven sides in the league letting in fewer goals.
Last Meeting:
These two sides met just three games into the current campaign back in August, with The Shaymen running out comfortable winners in a 3-0 victory. It was a game which was far from a dull encounter, which saw the three goals and three players given their marching orders – Cliff Moyo, Cieron Keane and Lee Hughes.
Kevin Roberts opened the scoring in the first 20 minutes after a clever flick on from Tom Denton gave Roberts the time and space to fire home. Josh Wilde made it two in the second half, it would turn out to be one of the luckier goals he will score in his career as the defender’s tackle deflected Ethan Ross in the Worcester net. The third goal came from the in-form Denton, as he grabbed his fifth goal in three games to get the three points.
