FC Halifax Town will travel south tomorrow for the second weekend in a row, this time it’s a trip to Surrey to take on Woking FC.

The Shaymen have so far had two games on the road, a narrow 2-1 defeat at Stockport County and a 0-0 draw with last season’s fellow play-off opponents Boreham Wood.

The Cards were 2-0 winners in midweek against Dagenham & Redbridge at home and currently sit in 6th place with three wins out of their opening four games.

Last season the two sides drew 0-0 in the game at the Kingfield Stadium, whilst Town lost 2-0 at home in the penultimate game before the season concluded due to the Covid19 pandemic. The goals were scored by Max Kretzschmar and Jake Hyde, the latter has made the switch to the Shay for this season but has so far not played for Town due to injury.
