Steve Nichol, Head of Youth, Junior and Community Football Development said: “Today’s event was a great showcase for our work in the community using football to bring together children from different backgrounds and working towards a more integrated society. The tournament ran in a good feel to it; played in a competitive but relaxed atmosphere where the players could enjoy the playing the game whilst feeling comfortable to express themselves thus there was some great football on display.
“Congratulations to Withinfields Primary School we shall offer support to the school in the way of free coaching sessions to give the team the best possible chance of representing Halifax in the national final.”
