1.West Brom have won the league title once in their history back in 1919/20.

2.They have won the FA Cup on five occasions making them one of the most successful teams in the competition.

3.The Hawthorns is the highest of all league grounds in the football league at 552 feet above seas level.

4.The club was founded in 1878, originally known as the West Bromwich strollers.

5.West Brom won the League Cup in 1966 in their first ever appearance in the tournament.

6.Tony Brown is the clubโ€™s record goal scorer with 279 goals.

7.In the clubโ€™s 2009/10 promotion season from the championship they managed to amass 91 points, they best tally since the three-points for a win rule was brought in.

8.The 2004/05 season saw West Brom become the first team to avoid relegation from the Premier League after being bottom at Christmas, it became known as โ€œthe great escapeโ€.

9.They reached three consecutive FA Cup finals from 1886-88 but only managed to win one in that time.

10.Charlie Wilson is the clubs youngest ever first team player aged just 16 years and 73 days.
