Since Tuesday night’s 3-1 win, the National League North has seen a few new faces added by the Shaymen’s divisional rivals.
Curzon Ashton made the double signing of Oldham’s Jack Truelove and, former Liverpool and England, striker Adam Morgan.
The 22 year old striker has five England under 19 caps under his belt, and most recently plied his trade for Northern Premier League side, Colwyn bay. Morgan has over 120,000 followers on social media, more than 50 times more than his new club’s official account.
Bradford Park Avenue finally got their first win of the season on Tuesday night, when they won away at fellow strugglers, Altrincham. The victory moves them off the trough of the table, and ahead of Stalybridge Celtic.
Altrincham themselves however have won the FA Cup media team of the round award for their coverage of the qualifying match, receiving two tickets to the Wembley final next year
