AFC Fylde 1 – Barnet 0

A goal from the ever-present Danny Rowe and a red card in the first half for Barnet meant Fylde got a crucial 3 points in their chase for a top three place. The win means that a play-off place is guaranteed and top three is still possible but unlikely as they rely on other results.

Boreham Wood 2 -Salford 3

A thrilling game for promotion hopefuls Salford after it seemed they had blown a 2-0 lead. Piergianni and Hogan struck inside 22 minutes to take City two clear and looking comfortable. But a converted penalty and then an equaliser by Murtagh in the 70th minute looked to have taken two crucial points away from Salford. But with only two minutes left on the clock substitute Green came on and made sure that all three points were coming back to Salford.

Bromley 0 -Solihull Moors 2

Solihull Moors were in a very familiar situation to Salford. Only 3 points between them and Layton Orient at the top, but after going two up inside an hour Moors never looked like loosing out on the points. A clear 2-0 win for Bromley.

Dag & Red 2 – Eastleigh 0

Dagenham & Redbridge came into the game with nothing to play for other than pride, however Eastleigh sat just inside the playoff places only 4 points ahead of Ebbsfleet United in 8th. But despite the stakes Dag & Red were the dominate team throughout. A goal in the first half by Harfield and early in the second by Kandi means that Dag & Red came out 2-0 winners over the play-off fighting Eastleigh.

Dover 1 -Aldershot 0

Aldershot are one of the teams that are already confirmed to be going down, but this didn’t stop Dover adding insult to injury when in the 88th minute Lewis condemned Aldershot to their 24th loss of the season.

Gateshead 1 -Chesterfield 0

Realistically Gateshead need to win all their remaining games for any chance of breaking into the play-offs. A penalty from Rigg in the 27th minute was all they needed to take all three points. Now thanks to results elsewhere they have moved up into 9th and only four points between them and a play-off place. Chesterfield meanwhile played nothing to the standards of their last few games.

Hartlepool 2 – FC Halifax 1

The Shaymen travelled to the North East in a nothing six pointer which saw both teams start the day on 53 points. It started well for Halifax when Devante Rodney popped up with his 6th goal of the season after 14 minutes. But it was all downhill from there for Town who conceded an equaliser after 32 minutes and then early in the second half Molyneux got Hartlepool’s second and that is how the game would end.  Halifax are safe but now drop down to 18th while Hartlepool go up to 14th in a very tight league table.

Havant & W 3 – Ebbsfleet 3

Before the game no-one would have given already relegated Havant and Waterlooville a chance against play-off chasing Ebbsfleet, but this was not going to be the case. A brace from Rutherford and a sucker-punch from McNamara just before the break saw Havant go into half time 3-0 up. With other results going against them a loss would be devastating for Ebbsfleet. But they weren’t ready to roll over yet. Unbelievably it took Ebbsfleet only 12 minutes to draw the game level thanks to a goal straight from kick off from Kidwell, Michael Cheek added their second five minutes later and then to complete the comeback Magri in the 57th minute. Ebbsfleet should have perhaps won the game but left themselves with too much to do after a poor first 45.

Leyton Orient 2 – Harrogate 0

Harrogate could have secured a play-off place with a victory thanks to Ebbsfleet dropping points, but table topping Leyton Orient had other ideas as they took another step towards automatic promotion. A goal after two minutes by Coulson and a goal 90 minutes later from Harrold was enough to maintain top spot for another week.

Maidenhead 1– Barrow 1

A nothing game for both side as Maidenhead can’t be relegated and Barrow can’t be promoted. Barrow took the lead after 19 minutes thanks to Hindle. Then in the 74-minute Fondop-Talom equalised for Maidenhead. Game ended 1-1.

Maidstone 0 -Braintree 2

A battle of the bottom two of sorts. Both teams already confirmed relegation, but this was a game to avoid finishing bottom. But for bottom side Maidstone United they couldn’t lift themselves off the foot of the table thanks to one early goal and one late goal saw Braintree Town come away 2-0 winners.

Wrexham 1 – Sutton 0

Wrexham are desperately pushing for a top 3 spot and with all the other top 3 sides winning today a victory was even more important. Luckily for Wrexham (Who visit Halifax on Monday) they managed to get their win thanks to a goal in the 78th minute from Kennedy. A massive win for Wrexham who could still mathematically finish anywhere between 5th and 1st.
