It was a busy day of action in the National League North, with nine games taking place this weekend.

There were goalless draws between Halifax and Boston, Curzon Ashton and Brackley, and Stockport County and Chorley. The game of the day was at Wetherby Road as leaders AFC Fylde held Harrogate to a 3-3 draw. A hat trick from Simon Ainge and goals for Danny Rowe, Dan Bradley and Matt Hughes ensured it was a thriller in North Yorkshire.

Bradford Park Avenue lost 1-0 at home to Gloucester, as Zack Kotwica scored the winner, and Altrincham were consigned to another defeat as Dan Hibbert scored the only goal for Telford United.

High flying Kidderminster fell to defeat at FC United, as George Thompson scored the only goal.

Salford City also lost, as goals from Danny Newton and Connor Taylor meant Tamworth won 2-0.

Joe Ironside was on the scoresheet for Nuneaton, as they beat Gainsborough Trinity 2-1 in Warwickshire. Jordan Nicholson scored the winner, after Ashley Worsfold had put Trinity ahead.

There was late action in Bromsgrove as struggling Worcester held Darlington to a 2-2 draw. The hosts thought they’d won the game in the 94thminute through Jordan Murphy, but just a minute later, Harvey Saunders pegged them back.

Dave Syers had put Darlo ahead, but Murphy’s double put Worcester in the lead before the late heartbreak.
