Gloucester City, whoย the Shaymen faceย on Saturday,ย have this week had planning permission granted for a new ground at their old Meadow Lane site. The Tigers havenโ€™t played in the city of Gloucester since 2007, having to arrange several ground-shares with local clubs. They currently play at Whaddon Road, home of Cheltenham Town. The Gloucestershire club have also completed a one-month loan deal for Eli Phipps, the Cardiff City striker.

Winger Liam Davis has left Gainsborough Trinity citing a lack of playing time and wanting to concentrate on his expanding restaurant business as his reasons for departure. Trinity have also agreed the departure of midfielder Jake Scott by mutual consent, in the week after they signed goalkeeper George Willis to cover the exit of former Shayman Jonathan Hedge. Hedge left for a full time staff role at Barnsley FC, as Lead Academy Goalkeeping Coach.

Richard Batchelor has left Worcester City in the search for more playing time. Batchelor was a part of the Worcester side which lost 3-0 at the Shay this season. His former sides include Hednesford Town, Brackley Town and Leamington.

Stalybridge Celtic have had a busy few days on the transfer front, bringing in midfielders Brian Summerskill from Glossop North End, and Darren McKnight. McKnightโ€™s previous clubs include Morecambe, Barnsley and Shrewsbury. Celtic have also signed Keil Oโ€™Brien on a three-month loan from Southport after his loan to the Shaymen ended. All three featured in the Emirates FA Cup game at the Shay on Saturday.

Defender Sam Tattum, released by Manchester City this summer, has also signed for Stalybridge but suffered a serious injury whilst playing in their Manchester Premier Cup tie at Droylsden on Tuesday.

Stockport County have signed Max Cartwright, after a brief spell with FC United of Manchester. Cartwright, a left back, was released by Fleetwood Town in the summer and has also previously played for Chorley and Southport.

Meanwhile Alfreton Town have completed the signings ofย two former Halifaxย players. Paul Marshall has signed, andย winger Adam Smith joins from Guiseley.Adam Nowakowski has joined Bradford Park Avenue on loan from fellow Vanarama National League North side Darlington, until November 5.
