As another round of Vanarama National League North fixtures are fastly approaching, each club is going about their business and making news ahead of their games. There have been several pieces of transfer news and here is a select few coming out of the league.

The first story comes straight from The Shaymen as the energetic midfielder Jake Hibbs has been loaned out to Bradford Park Avenue for a month. Hibbs has struggled to break into the first team this campaign and a switch to a side lower down in the table is sure to offer the 21-year old some much needed playing time.

Hibbs is a favourite among the MBi Shay Stadium crowd so fans will be waiting to see what sort of impact he has whilst on loan and will be hoping he can turn manager Billy Heath’s head.

Gainsborough Trinity have recently appointed Dave Frecklington to be their manager and it didn’t take the former Lincoln United man long to swoop for one of his old players.

Michael Jacklin is the man he has brought with him to Gainsborough, looking to an experienced player to sure up that back line. The two knew each other from Frecklington’s time in charge of Lincoln where Jacklin was a regular in his teams during their campaigns in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division South,

The final piece of news this week comes from Curzon Ashton. The Nash have snapped up promising young left-back Ben Barber on loan from York City.

The defender has an impressive background having previously been on the books at Premier League outfits Manchester United and Stoke City. Still only 21 years of age, Barber has a lot of time to improve and already has non-league football experience from his spells at Droylsden and Chester FC.
