FC Halifax Town will make the long trip to Cornwall this weekend to take on Truro City on Saturday afternoon in the Enterprise National League, 3pm kick-off.
The Shaymen go into the game in fine form in 6th place in the table with 7 wins and a draw in the last 8 games including 6 wins in a row.
Town won 3-1 away at Southport last weekend to book their place in the 1st Round of the Emirates FA Cup and was rewarded with a home game against League One side Exeter City.
Adam Lakeland’s side have won 4, drawn 1 and lost 3 on the road this season in the league including wins at Boston United, Gateshead, Morecambe and league leaders Rochdale.
Truro were promoted from the National League South last season and have so far won 2, drawn 1 and lost 4 at home in the league but have only picked up one point on the road out of 7 games so far.
They have won once in 8 league game which was a 5-0 home victory over Morecambe thanks to goals from Connor Riley-Lowe, Dominic Johnson-Fisher, Aiden Marsh and two from Luke Jephcott.
Truro have failed to score in 9 of their 14 games so far and only kept 2 clean sheets in the league
They were knocked out of the FA Cup in a replay on a penalty shoot out against AFC Totton at home in midweek
