Good afternoon, and welcome to you all. Well, for the first time in a while, FCHT do not have any extensions to their season, so this final home League match is actually my last chance to finish off this series of notes.

Firstly, I would like to thank the Club’s officials for the fantastic hospitality afforded to our group on the occasion of our sponsored match last Tuesday. The food was excellent, and to beat Sutton in the 89th minute made it a night to remember all round. Our guests for the night, ex-goalkeeper Lee Bracey and his wife really enjoyed their welcome, and Lee reminisced and made much comment on the changes to the Shay since he played here.

Today, we complete a whirlwind Player of the Season vote and presentation. The vote is open to all fans, so please help by adding your choice to the lists inside the turnstiles at the East and South Stand turnstiles. As suggested, this has all happened very quickly, so the trophies presented tonight will be “replicas”, with the real versions passed on in the closed season.

We hope to announce an Open to Question meeting in the next couple of weeks, so keep an eye on the various websites for more information on this topic. One thing I can tell you that the venue will be the Supporters Bar under the East Stand, with direct access from the Shay car park.

It goes without saying that the usual series of thanks come from the Supporters Club Committee for all the help we have received throughout the season; I’m not going to name individuals, you all know who you are.

Finally, on behalf of everyone associated with FC Halifax Town, the Supporters Club would like to take this opportunity to congratulate long-standing supporter Matty Swift on his forthcoming marriage to fiancée Megan. Our sincere best wishes go to the husband and wife-to-be for their future happiness. Well done, and good luck to you both!

See you next season,         Kit.
