Following on from the success of last season’s sponsored walk to Guiseley, the Supporters Club Committee are pleased to give details of the next sponsored walk which will take place on Sat 13/10/18 prior to the attractive National League home fixture against Chesterfield.
This is a much shorter route (just over 5 miles) and we hope this will therefore also appeal to families walking together. Details of the specific route are attached together with a copy of a Sponsor Form. If you don’t wish to approach potential sponsors, then an ‘on the day’ donation can be made if desired.
The sponsored walk will leave the Shay at 2pm and, allowing for an optional drinks break at the Volunteer Arms in Copley, everyone should be back at the Shay for approximately 4:15 pm.
