The Supporters Club Committee would like to take this opportunity to advise supporters of some of the planned activities for 2018/19, full details of which will be advertised at the appropriate time.
The popular Race Night in conjunction with the R.A.O.B will again take place in March at the Belgrave Club, Claremount Road, Halifax and plans are being put together by Committee Member Rachel Jakeman for another Race Night this time alongside Southowram Cricket Club.
Vice Chair Dave Crossley will again be arranging the well-established Annual Sporting Quiz at the Flying Dutchman in Boothtown and Dave will also be organising the yearly trip to the Greyhound Racing (normally at either the Owlerton or Belle Vue).
Following on from the success of last season’s sponsored walk to Guiseley, Committee Member Phil Knott is organising two smaller sponsored walks for 2018/19 with the hope that better weather prevails than that endured en route to Guiseley!
The regular fund raising schemes will still be available via the Supporters Club in 2018/19, eg Goal O Meter (see separate website article), bucket collections, Play The Squares, Football Cards, End of Season Raffle and we hope to be shortly announcing the date of the annual ‘Q & A’ with the Board of Directors.
