Five goals by five different scorers ensured that Stockport County U19’s comprehensively defeated FC Halifax Town U19’s.
A tepid display by the young Shaymen saw them score a late consolation goal after Stockport stormed into an unassailable five goal lead.
Albert Keeling grabbed the opener before a Kiarno Samms penalty doubled the hosts lead. At the turn of the interval strikes from Dean Nolan, Liam Atkinson and Charlie Mather added the gloss to a resounding victory for County.
Des Hazel will try and rejuvenate his squad for the trip to Macclesfield Town on Wednesday January 29th 2014.
